| 국문 초록 | 2000년대 이후 한국 기독교문학 혹은 기독교 관련 한국문학에 대한 연구의 양적 확대는 ‘기독교’와 연결된 스펙트럼을 지나치게 넓혀 ‘기독교문학’의 정체성을 희석시키고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 본 연구는 1950년대 이후 한국 ‘기독교문학’에 대한 개념과 범주 설정 논의들이 어떠한 성과를 이루었는지 비판적으로 고찰하고 한국 ‘기독교문학’의 범주와 개념을 다시금 체계화하는 한편 앞으로 나아가야 할 기독교문학 연구의 방향을 제시해 보고자 하였다. 1950년대-1960년대 한국 ‘기독교문학’의 범주와 개념에 대한 논의는 문인들을 중심으로 개론적인 진술에 머물고 있지만, 기독교 작가가 창작한 ‘기독교’ ‘문학’이라는 개념과 범주를 정립하면서 한국 기독교문학론의 중요한 토대를 형성하였다. 1970년대-1980년대에는 한국 기독교문학의 성과를 통해 ‘기독교문학’의 토착화를기독교 문학 모색하였다. 한국문학 안에서의 기독교의 ‘수용’을 강조하다보니 ‘기독교’와 관련된 당대 창작들을 ‘기독교문학’으로 폭넓게 포함시키면서 문제점을 표출하였지만, 평론가와 문학 연구자들을 중심으로 보다 전문화된 논의로 발전하였다는 점에서 의의를 찾을 수 있겠다. 1990년대-2000년대에는 기독교문학의 다원화 양상이 강하게 드러났다. 문학연구자들이 적극 참여하면서 심화된 논의를 보여주고 있으나, ‘기독교문학’의 스펙트럼을 과도하게 넓히면서 ‘기독교문학’의 정체성에 위협을 주고 있다는 한계를 드러내기도 하였다. 이러한 논의를 통해 기독교문학의 유의미한 개념과 범주를 다시 정리해 보면, 기독교문학이란 ‘기독교 세계관’에 바탕을 둔 ‘문학’으로, ‘기독교 세계관’과 ‘문학’의 두 측면 모두 갖추어야 한다. 특히 ‘기독교 세계관’이라는 핵심 정체성을 지키기 위해서는, ‘기독교문학’과 기독교와 ‘관련’된 문학을 구분하여 연구 과제를 세분화하고 심화시켜 나갈 때 더 의미 있는 성과를 이룰 수 있을 것이다. |
| 영문 초록 | This study critically investigated korean ‘christianity literature’ discussions about the concept and category settings and proposed the direction of ‘christianity literature’ research. As the research theory of Korean christianity literature, this paper was included important discussions on the establishment for concept and category of ‘christianity literature’ from the 1950s until recently. The discussion of the 1950s-1960s was shown on establishing ‘christianity’‘literature’ created by Christian writers. It showed an introductory statement. However, it has formed an important foundation of korean christianity literature discussion. The discussion of the 1970s-1980s sought the naturalization of ‘christianity literature’. It was expressed problem on a wide establishment for concept and category of ‘christianity literature’. But It developed into more specialized discussions. The discussion of the 1990s-2000s Revealed the pluralism of ‘christianity literature’. It showed earnest and deepened the discussion. However, It threatened identity of the christianity literature’. Therefore, we should be separated research korean‘christianity literature’ and korean literature ‘associated with’christianity. |
