| 국문 초록 | 이 논문의 목적은 월터스토프의 교육 사상에 기반하여 초등학교 평화교육 내용을 분석하는 데 있다. 이러한 목적을 위해, 월터스토프의 평화교육 사상의 내용을 살펴보고 이것을 기반으로 하여 평화교육 내용 분석 준거를 권리, 책임, 사회정의, 소극적 평화, 관계, 향유로 설정하여 현행 교육과정의 평화교육과 관련 있는 도덕과 사회 교과서의 내용을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 분석 결과, 평화교육의 내용 중 관계의 요소 중 ‘통일’, ‘사회정의’에 대한 내용은 도덕과 사회 교과서에 공통적으로 다양한 방법으로 표현되고 있었고, 나머지 요소들은 소수제시되었다. 도덕 교과서에서는 관계를 중심으로 한 개인생활의 관점으로, 사회 교과서에서는 사회정의와 권리의 내용을 중심으로 사회 전체의 구조의 관점으로 편중되어 제시되어 있었다. 즉, 기존 교과서에 나타나 있는 평화교육의 내용은 통일과 사회정의에 집중되어 있으며, 도덕과 사회 교과서에 평화교육에 대한 주제와 내용의 성격이 서로 상이하게 나타나 있다고 볼 수 있다. 그러므로 균형 잡힌 평화교육을 위해서는 통일과 사회정의 뿐 아니라 권리, 책임, 소극적 평화, 관계, 향유의 요소를 포함해야 한다. 이를 위해 도덕과 사회 교과서의 연계 지도가 필요하며, 교사의 평화교육에 대한 분명한 인식과 실천이 요구된다. |
| 영문 초록 | The purpose of this study is to analyze the Moral Education and Social Studies textbooks in the elementary school in terms of Wolterstorff''s peace education. To this end, we looked at Wolterstorff''s view of peace education, established six components of peace education, ie. right, responsibility, social justice, passive peace, relationship, and enjoyment. Moral Education and Social Studies textbooks have in common that they involve unification and social justice which are related to peace education. However these two textbooks are different. Moral Education tends to stress on individual aspects of peace education such as relationship, whereas Social Studies addresses social aspects of peace education like social justice and right. In conclusion, it is needed for student to teach not only unification and social justice but also right, responsibility, passive peace, relationship, and enjoyment for keeping balance between contents in peace education. And for this, Moral Education and Social Studies have to be linked up and teacher should have the consciousness of peace education. |
