Information revolution has made a great deal of changes over our entire society. Among which education is getting more changes and challenges. Accordingly, the characteristic of education in information society has changed into a new appearance different from the previous one, Moreover, those who utilize the computer as an important tool for education in information society are the so-called "new generation" youths. However, this new generation is lacking in right sense of values and ethical teachings for utilizing the computer. This paper is tried to prospect the Christian sense of values for the promising new generation who are playing the leading role in utilizing the computer. First, I will survey the understanding of the idea of information society and how the characteristic of the education be changed to reflect this environment. Second, the right comprehension of the new generation as the important object of the education in information society, and the education situation for the new generation, will be looked about. Finally, based upon it, three kinds of Christian Perspective on the education for the new generation in information society will be presented. |
