There has been many tries that enclose theatrical elements to the worship. But we have to notice some problems in these tries. Because the theatre is consisted of many elements included human bodies, sets, costumes, lights, many other dramatic devices, we are inclined to concentrate our senses only on spectacles or the outer surface of performance. The proposal of `the invisible theatre` or `a theatre as a process` in this thesis is related closely with the contemporary tendency. In `the invisible theatre` or `a theatre as a process` the surface elements of performance are not accented any more. On the contrary, the process of production and the use of theatre as of tool for education are more important. If we are going to use the theatre in a worship, the invisible theatre is more suitable than the traditional theatre. That is, the theatre is use a tool for the christian education and the training for the maturity of our faith. |
