The purpose of this research is to analyze mainly in legislation aspect whether teachers can have religion activities in public educational institutions, or not, if can do ti, they can do it to some degree. Private universities doesn`t have legal problems about executing religion education according to school regulations because it is secured more autonomy than primary or secondary school. But, because primary and secondary students don`t have the right of school choice, primary and secondary schools have difficulties in executing religion education. In the 7th Curriculum that expands the student`s curriculum option, religion education through formal curriculum was more difficult. Religion education through club activities or class administration activities is no impossible too. But, according to the authoritative interpretation of education authorities, religion education through special activities can be available. also, missionary works through private meeting with a student is possible. Religion activities of Christian teachers` meeting in daily work time are against the rules and regulations. But, on the basis of peculiarity of teacher service time, there is room for the claim to be permitted religion activities of Christian teachers` meeting in daily work time. |
