| 국문 초록 | 본 연구는 현상학적 연구방법을 적용하여 한국 간호선교사들의 해외선교 경험의 본질과 의미의 구조를 이해하고 더 나아가 그들을 위한 지지체계 방안을 모색하고자 시도되었다. 본 연구의 참여자는 2년 이상 해외선교 경험이 있는 여성 간호선교사 9명이었다. 자료수집은 2013년 5월부터 시작하여 자료가 이론적 포화상태에 이른 2014년 9월까지 이루어졌다. 자료분석은 Giorgi의 현상학적 연구방법을 근거로 자료수집과 분석의 순환적 과정을 거쳐 이루어졌다. 본 연구결과 도출된 한국 간호선교사의 해외선교 경험의 일반적 구조는 ‘낯선 땅에서 기독간호사로 살아가기’였으며, 도출된 6개의 구성요소는 ‘선교소명과 준비’, ‘낯선 세계와 맞닥뜨림’, ‘그 땅의 상황에 압도당함’, ‘자신, 타인 및 선교에 대한 깨달음’, ‘선교지의 변화를 보는 기쁨과 보람’, ‘깊어지는 영성’ 이었다. 본 연구결과는 간호선교사들의 삶과 고충에 관한 보다 깊은 이해를 제공하였으며, 이를 근거로 한 실제적인 돌봄과 지지방안 마련을 위한 전략개발에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. |
| 영문 초록 | "Purpose: The purpose of this phenomenological study was to understand and describe the essence and structure of the experience of Korean nurse oversea missionary. Methods: The participants of this study were nine female nurse missionaries who had spent more than 2 years in oversea mission field. Data were collected through individual in-depth interviews from May 2013 to September 2014. The collected data were analyzed by Giorgi’s phenomenological analysis method. Results: The general structure of Korean nurse missionary’s experience was ‘living as a christian nurse in a foreign land’. 6 constituents extracting from this analysis were made up of ‘mission calling and preparation’, ‘encountering the strange and unfamiliar world’, ‘being overwhelmed by the situations of the land’, ‘recognizing self, others, and the mission’, ‘joy and feeling worth to see the changing land’, ‘growing spirituality’. Conclusions: These findings provide deep understanding of lives and difficulties of nurse missionaries working in overseas. Based on the results of this study, it is needed to develop and intervene effective strategies and educational program that are helpful for nurse missionaries. " |
