| 국문 초록 | 본 논문의 연구자는 “기독교사회복지가 일반사회복지와 어떤 차별성을 가지는가?” 라는 의문을 품고 총신대학교 사회복지대학원의 문을 두드리게 되었고, 1급 시각장애인 이재서 교수의 기독교사회복지 강의를 통해서 그 해답을 얻게 되었다. 뿐만 아니라 장애인 선교를 위한 봉사에 각별한 관심과 열정을 가진 이재서 교수의 강의를 경청하면서 연구자 또한 장애인에 대한 편견을 버리고 사회적 약자와 소외계층을 심층 이해할 수 있게 되었다. 특히 가장 극복하기 어려운 신체조건과 환경에도 불구하고 홀로 세계밀알연합이라는 장애인 선교단을 창단하여 세계 20개국에 확산시킨 이재서 총재의 저력이 과연 무엇일까 하는 궁금증에서 본 연구는 시작 되었다. 한 연약한 개인의 기독교 영성이 기독교사회복지에 큰 영향을 미치는 동력이 될 수 있다는 가설을 전제로, 선행연구를 통한 기독교 영성에 대한 바른 이해를 도모하였으며, 기독교영성훈련이 기독교사회복지실천에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 사례연구 방법을 통해 규명하고자 했다. 또한, 현재 기독교적 신앙의 배경을 갖고 사회복지실천에 헌신하는 현장의 실천가들은 다음과 같은 질문을 통하여 끊임없이 자기반성의 성찰을 하게 된다. “사회복지프로그램의 운영을 통한 서비스의 제공만이 목적인가? 예배와 기도가 포함된 기독교적인 운영만으로 충분한가? 선교대상의 진정한 인격과 삶의 변화, 나아가 사회의 변화(transformation)를 가져올 수 있는 실천의 패러다임이 무엇인가?” 바로 이러한 의구심은 기독교사회복지 실무자는 단순히 사회적인 기술(Skills)로만 접근해서는 안 되며, 강한 영성을 소유하고 세속적인 차원이 아닌 기독교적 참된 영성으로 사회적 약자와 더불어 살아가는 복지사회 구현이 사명임을 반증한다. 성경은 신‧구약 전반에 걸쳐 사회적 약자에 하나님의 지대한 관심이 표명되어 있고 이에 대한 적극적인 구제책이 필요하다는 것을 강조하고 있다. 이러한 성경적 관점에서 한국교회 기독교사회복지실천을 조명해 볼 때 가시적 성과위주와 투입 대비 산출의 효율성을 중시하는 일반사회복지 평가 잣대를 넘어 소외된 한 영혼까지 사랑하는, 진정성이 느껴지는 영적통찰의 접근이 요구된다 하겠다. 따라서 일반사회복지와 차별화된 기독교사회복지를 실천하기 위해서는 기독교 영성으로 훈련된 실무자만이 기독교복지 사역을 수행할 수 있다는 것이 본 논문의 주요 논지이며, 사례연구 결과 이를 입증하였다. 따라서 사회복지가 영성에 의해 좌우됨으로 사회복지 실무자들은 영성훈련을 철저히 하여 기독교사회복지실천의 동력으로 삼아야 할 것이다. 기독교사회복지의 정체성은 영성에 있으므로 영성활동이 전 사회복지사역의 근저를 이루어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 일반적인 사회복지의 한계를 극복하는 방안으로 기독교영성훈련을 제안하고 기독교영성훈련이 기독교사회복지실천에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하였다. 세상에서는 교회와 크리스천에게 기독교적 선행을 기대하나 무늬만 기독교인 사람은 화석화된 종교인처럼 무능과 무기력과 무감각을 그대로 드러낼 수밖에 없다. 따라서 본 연구는 사회복지 실무자들은 물론 잠재적 봉사자들이 영성훈련의 중요성을 인식하고 기독교영성훈련으로 사회복지실천에 기여하는데 그 목적을 두고 연구를 진행하였다. 본 논문에서 제시하는 복지 원형(原型)의 핵심은 ‘사람다움’과 ‘사회다움’에 있다. 기독교사회복지는 ‘기독교 영성’에 따라 정해지고, 기독교 영성은 성경에 입각한 ‘사람다움’과 ‘사회다움’에서 나온다. 기독교사회복지란, 기독교 영성으로 사람다움과 사회다움의 복지를 실천할 때 가능하다. 본 연구를 통해서 복지의 세속화를 방지하고 참된 기독교 영성이 중심된 진정한 기독교복지실천을 위해서 기독교영성훈련이 절대적으로 필요함이 입증되었다. 본 연구논문에서는 질적 사례연구 방법에 의하여 분석한 결과 일반사회복지의 변곡점(point of inflection)에서 기독교사회복지로 견인(牽引)할 수 있는 동력은 바로 기독교영성훈련이라는 결론을 도출하였다. 이 결론적 의미는 기독교영성으로 훈련된 사람이라야 진정한 기독교사회복지 실천이 가능할 수 있다는 것이다. 따라서 본 논문의 연구결과는 기독교 영성으로 훈련된 복지실무자들이 일반사회복지와 차별화된 기독교 정체성과 가치관을 가지고 지역사회의 사회복지 사각지대 해소에 앞장서야 한다는 결론에 이르게 되었다. |
| 영문 초록 | I knocked the door of graduate school of social welfare, Chongshin University with a question which is ‘what is differentiation between Christian social welfare and general social welfare?’, then I was able to get answer through the Christian social welfare lecture of professor Lee-Jaeseo, Class A blind. Moreover, while I had been listening the lecture of professor Lee who has strong affection and passion for mission for the disabled, it not only helped me get rid of all prejudice about the disabled, but also open the new level of view to understand second-class citizen and the disadvantaged. Especially, a curiosity, ‘what could be the preserving strength of professor Lee who established alone the Mission union for the disabled called ’The world association of Milal’ and spread over 20 countries, even though he has insurmountable obstacles and unfavorable social condition as a blind?’, led me to begin this paper. Based on the hypothesis that Christian spiritual of a frail individual could be a motive power which had great effect on Christian social welfare, I promoted correct understanding about Christian spiritual through the preceding research and tried to inquire what kind of effects could be on the practice for Christian social welfare by Christian spiritual through case study. Moreover, nowadays the doers having background of Christian belief have self-reflected constantly with those questions. : “Is the service offer only one purpose of welfare programs?’, ‘Is it enough to operate with only involving worship and pray in program?’, ’What could be a transformation of paradigm for life and personality of subjects, even for society?’ These doubts disproves that mission of Christian social welfare doers is not working with stereotypical skills to subjects, but implementing welfare society by living with the disadvantaged, having truthful spirituality, not worldly skills. In the Bible, God expresses his great care about the disadvantaged in the society through entire the Old and New Testaments and emphasizes it’s needed positive measures for the relief. When we illuminate the practice of Christian society welfare of Korean church on the biblical perspective, approach of spiritual insight loving even isolated last soul is required beyond evaluation standard focused on the tangible results and effectiveness of input-output. Therefore, it is a point of the paper that only doers trained on Christian spirit can carry out the Christian welfare mission, being differentiated from the ordinary social welfare and result of case study proves it. In this reason, as Social welfare is depended on spirituality, grafting spirituality upon social welfare should be a motive power of Christian social welfare doers who spiritual trained throughly. Since the identity of Christian social welfare depends on spirituality, divine activities should be a foundation of all-round social welfare mission. This paper suggests Christian social welfare as plan to overcome the limit of ordinary social welfare and studies influence of Christian spiritual discipline on Christi social welfare practice. Even though the world expects Christian virtue to the church and Christians, people who are perfunctory Christian might frankly show incompetence, lethargy and insensibility as a fossilized religious person. On this reason, this study, being aware of the significance of spiritual discipline of social welfare practicers and even including potential practices, processed research to contribute to social welfare practice through Christian spiritual discipline. A key point of welfare prototype suggested by this paper is on ‘an autonomous human being: man should live as a master of his life’ and ‘a harmonious society: society should be able to live including the weak’. Christian social welfare is established by Christian spirituality which comes from ‘an autonomous human being’ and ‘a harmonious society’. When ‘an autonomous human being’ and ‘a harmonious society’ are realized, Christian social welfare would be feasible. Thought this study, the absolute necessity of Christian spiritual discipline is proved to prevent secularization of welfare and to realize genuine Christian social welfare centered on true Christian spirituality. On this paper, an analysis of case studies by qualitative research method shows the result that the motivative power from a point of inflection of general social welfare to Christian social welfare is the Christian spiritual discipline. Thus, study of the paper reaches the result that welfare workers trained on Christian spirituality have to lead to settle blind area of the local community social welfare, having differentiated Christian identity and values from common social welfare. |
