| 국문 초록 | 본 연구의 목적은 크리스천 코칭을 통하여 한국 교회의 질적 성장 발판을 구축하고자 한다. 탁월한 지도자의 영향력은 지위(position)가 아니라 역할(role)이다. 코칭은 훌륭한 지도자를 만드는 과정의 필수요소로서, 변화하는 시대에 신뢰받는 코치가 된다면 목회자로 하여금 탁월한 역할을 감당하는 훌륭한 지도자로 서게 될 것이다. 현재 한국 교회의 성장은 멈추었고, 청소년들은 점점 교회를 멀리하고 있다. 이러한 시점에서 크리스천들에게 자기 성장과 발전을 도모할 수 있는 코칭 프로그램은 절실한 상황이다. 특히 과거 상처와 치유 분야의 상담이 필요한 사람들에게 빠른 회복뿐만 아니라 미래 비전과 연결되어 교회의 성장에 많은 도움을 줄 수 있는 크리스천 코칭 프로그램은 교계에서 절대적으로 필요한 영역이라 하겠다. 크리스천 코칭을 통해 교회에서 얻을 수 있는 유익은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성도들이 주도적이 되고 적극적으로 참여하게 된다. 코치인 목회자가 들어주고 질문해 주는데, 주도적이 되지 않을 사람이 없다. 목회자는 묻고 들어주기만 했는데도 성도들은 만족감과 충만감을 느끼며 가정으로 돌아가게 된다. 둘째, 말씀의 진전한 내면화를 이룰 수 있다. 성도들의 정신적 창고 속에는 이미 하나님의 말씀이 가득 존재한다. 성도들에게 부족한 것은 말씀 그 자체라기보다는 그 말씀이 자신에게 어떻게 연관되는지 아는 것과 그 말씀으로 자신의 삶을 정렬하는 일이다. 셋째, 목회자를 진정한 영적 문제의 전문가로 만들어 준다. 자신이 복잡한 현대의 모든 문제에 대해서 답도 만들고 하는 과정에서, 비록 오류가 발생하긴 하겠지만, 핵심적인 가치문제에 대해서 질문하고 생각하게 해줌으로써 진정한 전문가가 될 수 있다. 넷째, 목회적 오류를 줄일 수 있다. 성도들의 상황을 가장 잘 아는 것은 성도 자신이다. 목회자의 넘겨짚기와 강요, 그리고 기도하고 말씀 믿으라는 식의 일방적인 해답 제시는 변화보다는 마찰과 갈등을 키울 수도 있다. |
