본 논문은 완성에 대한 기독교 세계관적 고찰이다. 기독교 세계관을 연구한 대부분의 학자들은 기독교 세계관을 창조, 타락 및 구속으로 이해하며 하나님 나라의 완성은 구속의 일부로 본다. 하지만 본 논문은 완성을 별도로 다루어야 한다고 주장하는데 왜냐하면 구속과 완성 간에는 연속성도 있지만 비연속성도 분명히 있기 때문이다. 완성에 관한 대표적인 본문으로 요한계시록 21장 1-4절을 중심으로 성경신학적인 방법론을 적용하여 새 하늘과 새 땅의 의미를 기술하고, 거룩한 도성과 새 예루살렘 및 신부의 이미지를 통해 하나님 나라의 완성이 어떠한 내용인지 보다 깊이 살펴본 후, 하나님께서 자기 백성들과 함께 하시는 임마누엘 원리의 완성을 통한 언약의 최종적 성취를 통해 하나님의 백성들이 누리게 될 영원한 축복으로서의 샬롬에 대해 고찰한다. 그 후 이 논의가 기독교 세계관에 어떤 기여를 할 수 있는지를 결론적으로 도출한다. |
| 영문 초록 |
This article is a reflection on consummation from the Christian worldview. Most scholars think of Christian worldview in terms of creation, fall into sin and redemption and view that consummation of the Kingdom of God is included in redemption. But in this article, it is argued that consummation should be discussed separately because there is not only continuity but also a clear discontinuity between redemption and consummation. Revelation 21:1-4 are selected as the main text for consummation and the following four themes are discussed with a biblical theological method: first, the meaning of new heaven and new earth is discussed. Then, by explaining the significance of the holy city, new Jerusalem and bride, a deeper investigation is made to explore the contents of the consummation of the Kingdom of God. After that, the Immanuel principle is dealt with as the final completion of God’s covenant with His people. Finally, shalom as the eternal blessing is exposed as the ultimate blessing given to God’s people. In conclusion, an attempt is made to identify what kind of contribution it can make in the Christian worldview. |
