본 연구의 목적은 히틀러의 민족사회주의 정책들에 대한 당시 독일 기독교회의 태도를 살펴보고 시사점을 알아보는데 있다. 본 연구에서 도출된 몇 가지 주요 내용들을 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 히틀러와 민족 사회주의자들이 인종주의와 사회적 다윈주의를 중심으로 펼쳤던 정책들은 결국은 왜곡된 인간관에서 출발한 것이었다. 따라서 기독교회나 기독인들은 성경적인 올바른 인간관을 교회내외에 정립시키는 일이 우선적으로 중요하다. 둘째, 교회와 국가 또는 종교와 정치 간의 관계는 교회와 기독인들의 정체성 확립을 위해 매우 중요한 요소이다. 따라서 교회와 기독인들은 믿음의 본질을 망각하지 않고 기독교 세계관을 바탕으로 이 사회에 참여하여 선한 영향력을 끼쳐야 하는 사명을 가지고 있다. 셋째, 국가권력이나 위정자들이 반기독교적인 가치관이나 정책을 펼칠 때 기독인들은 이에 저항하는 일이 마땅하다. 그러나 국가권력이 그릇된 가치관과 통치력으로 나라를 이끌 경우에는 폭력적인 방법이 아니라 평화주의적인 정신을 바탕으로 엄중하게 경고하고 저항해야 할 것이다. |
| 영문 초록 |
The purpose of this study is to examine the attitude of the German Christian Church at the time about Hitler's national socialist policies and to explore its implications. Here are some of the key points derived from this study: First, the policies that Hitler and the national socialists revolved around racism and social Darwinism eventually started from a distorted view of humanity. Therefore, it is important to establish a correct view of the Bible inside and outside the church for Christian Second, the relationship between the church and the state or between religion and politics is a very important factor for establishing the identity of the church and its followers. Therefore, churches and givers have a mission to participate in this society based on Christian worldviews and exert good influence without forgetting the nature of faith. Third, when state powers or rulers carry out anti-Christian values or policies, the Christian believers deserve to resist them. But if state power leads the country with wrong values and governance, it will have to sternly warn and resist based on pacifist spirit, not on violent methods. |
