현대 인도의 세계관은 서구의 인도 역사 연구와 영국 동인도회사의 식민지 지배 목적의 인도 역사 연구의 배경에서 탄생 된 힌두교라는 종교 중심의 인도 이해의 산물이다. 이런 역사 이해가 비판 없이 수용되어 인도의 교육을 통해서 인도를 힌두교라는 종교를 중심으로 이해하는 세계관이 형성되었고, 이렇게 형성된 세계관은 고착화되고 오랜 역사적 과정을 통해 정착되었다. 현대 인도 세계관의 힌두교 중심의 이해는 찰스 크래프트의 세계관 변화 모델을 통해 볼 때 개종에 해당된다. 외부의 압력인 동인도회사의 인도 역사 왜곡을 통해서 인도 전체가 힌두교 중심으로 문화적으로 개종 된 예이다. 세계화 시대의 선교에서 한 지역을 종교 중심으로 이해하는 것은 서구가 판단하는 타지역 이해의 모순이다. 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화의 다양한 각도에서 접근하는 현대적 인도 이해가 요구되고, 이는 현대 선교에서 선교지 인도 이해에 있어서 수정되어야 할 사항이다. |
| 영문 초록 |
The worldview of modern India is a product of the religious understanding of India as Hinduism, which was born from the background of Western studies of Indian history and the British East India Company's study of the history of India for the purpose of colonial rule. Through the education of India uncritically accepted this understanding of history, the worldview that understood India as a religion centered on Hinduism was formed, and its fixation was established through a long historical process. A Hindu-centered understanding of the modern Indian worldview is conversion when viewed through Charles Kraft's worldview change model. It is an example of the cultural conversion of the whole of India to Hinduism through the distortion of the history of India by the East India Company, which is an external pressure. Understanding one region as the center of religion in mission the age of globalization is a contradiction of the understanding of other regions judged by the West. A modern understanding of India approached from various angles of politics, economy, society and culture is required, and this is a matter to be corrected in understanding mission field guidance in modern missions. |
