국문 초록 본 연구는 소진(Burn-out)을 경험한 영아부 전도사의 COVID-19 상황에서 사역의 어려움은 무엇이며 회복과정은 어떠한지를 알아보기 위한 내러티브 탐구를 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 서울시 S구에 위치한 J 교회의 영아부 전도를 대상으로 2020년 6월부터 2021년 12월까지 총 10회에 걸친 심층면담의 과정을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 소진을 경험한 영아부 전도사의 COVID-19 상황에서의 사역 어려움은 ‘타성에 젖은 사역자로서 자신의 모습에 대한 회의와 죄의식’, ‘새로운 예배 패러다임의 수용과정에서 느끼는 혼란과 위축’, ‘공동체와 예배의 원상회복에 대한 기대와 두려움’이었다. 둘째, 소진을 경험한 영아부 전도사의 COVID-19 상황에서의 회복과정은 무력감과 패배감, 죄의식으로부터의 내 모습 그대로를 사랑하시는 하나님’, ‘소진을 되돌아보기와 되살아나는 사역에의 사명감’, ‘초심의 열정!, 내 힘에 의함이 아닌 하나님이 주시는 회복의 은혜’로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는, 포스트 코로나 시대 교회사역자들이 안정적으로 사역을 감당하고 소진 보다는 하나님의 세우심과 힘주심에 대한 소망으로 사역을 온전히 감당할 수 있도록 사역자 멘토링 제도 및 다양한 지원체계의 마련, 그리고 사역자들의 커뮤니티 활성화를 위한 제도적 뒷받침의 필요성을 시사한다. 본 연구는 내러티브 탐구의 접근을 통해 한 개인의 소진 경험 및 사역과 회복과정에서 세우신 자의 삶을 철저히 주관하시는 하나님의 임재 의미를 탐구하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다.
영문 초록 The purpose of this study was to make a narrative inquiry to examine what the ministry difficulty is and what about the recovery process in infant preachers with the experience of burn-out in the COVID-19 situation. To this end, data were collected through the process of in-depth interview across totally 10 times from June 2020 to December 2021 targeting infant preachers at J church where is located in S ward of Seoul Metropolis. The findings are as follows. First, the Christian-mission difficulties in infant preachers with the experience of burn-out in the COVID-19 situation included ‘skepticism and guilty conscience about own image as a ministry worker trapped by inertia,’ ‘confusion and withering felt in the process of accepting the new worship paradigm,’ ‘expectation and fear of the restoration in community and worship’. Second, the recovery process in infant preachers with the experience of burn-out in the COVID-19 situation appeared to include ‘God who loves me the way I am from helplessness, a sense of defeat, and guilty feeling,’ ‘the reflection on burn-out and the resurgent sense of duty,’ ‘the passion of original intention!, the grace of recovery from God, not by my power.’ These research results suggest the need for arranging the minister mentoring system and diverse support systems and for an institutional support aiming to revitalize the community of ministry workers so that the church ministers can stably carry out Christian mission in the post-COVID 19 era and can fulfill the ministry with the hope of God's enabling and empowering rather than burn-out. This study has a significance in that the approach of narrative inquiry led to having explored the meaning of the presence in God who thoroughly supervises the life of the founder in an individual’s burn-out experience and ministry recovery process.
