| 국문 초록 | 본 연구는 1912년 간호선교사로 조선에 파송되어 일생을 조선을 위해 헌신하며 사랑의 삶을 실천한 서서평(徐舒平, Elizabeth Johanna Shepping) 선교사의 삶을 전기적 생애사 연구를 통해 고찰함으로 현대사회 유아교육에 주는 함의을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 문헌, 영상, 사진 자료들의 귀납적 분석을 통하여 서서평 선교사의 생애를 고찰하였으며, 관계성이 회복되는 치유, 실천적 돌봄이 있는 가르침, 낮은 마음으로 섬기는 교육공동체라는 유아교육적 함의를 도츨하였다. 본 연구를 통해 인간성의 회복이 절실해지는 현대사회와 유아교육에 생명존중의 삶과 교육의 본질을 되돌아보고, 사랑과 섬김, 헌신이 있는 공동체성의 회복으로 더불어 함께 행복한 유아교육현장으로 나아가기 위한 울림의 계기가 되길 기대한다. |
| 영문 초록 | The purpose of this study is to examine the implications for early childhood education in modern society by examining the life of missionary, Elizabeth Johanna Sheping(徐舒平), who was sent to Joseon as a nursing missionary in 1912 and devoted her life to Joseon. To this end, through inductive analysis of literature, video, and photographs, the life of missionary Seo, Seo-pyeong was examined. As a result, early childhood education implications were derived: healing in which relationships were restored, teaching with practical care, and an educational community served with a low heart. Through this study, we hope that it will be an opportunity to reflect on the nature of life-respecting life and education in modern society and early childhood education, where the restoration of humanity is urgent, and to move forward to a happy early childhood education site together with the restoration of community with love, service, and commitment. |
