| 국문 초록 | 오늘날 교회와 신학에 도전이 되고 있는 정신분석은 과연 그리스도교 영혼의 치유 분야에 수용이 가능한가? 본 소고는 위와 같은 질문에 대답하기 위하여 정신분석 이론을 설명하기 보다는 오히려 정신분석과 같은 정신역동심리를 다루는 학문분야에서 인간 이해의 가장 중요한 요소 중의 하나로 간주하고 있는 꿈에 대하여 연구하였다. 꿈에 대한 그리스도교 신학의 입장을 살펴보기에 앞서 유럽 특히 프랑스어권 신학자들의 정신분석에 대한 신학적 통합의 역사를 간략히 살펴보았다. 그 후에 꿈에 대하여 원시교회로부터 시작하여 중세 및 근대교회의 입장을 살펴보았다. 꿈 자체에 대한 연구라기보다는 인간의 무의식에 대하여 교회가 어떤 자세를 취했는지를 살펴보기 위해서였다. 그 다음에 성경은 꿈에 대하여 어떤 입장을 취하고 있는지를 연구하였다. 신구약 성경 속에 나타나고 있는 꿈의 이해와 영혼의 치유를 위한 꿈의 해석의 가치와 한계를 설명했다. 이러한 연구를 통해 필자는 이성과 합리주의가 팽배해 있는 오늘날도 꿈의 해석은 영혼의 치유의 실천에 유용한 도구가 될 수 있다고 강조했다. 왜냐하면 꿈은 인간 정신세계, 무의식의 세계를 보여주고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 그 안에는 영적 엑스터시와 경탄, 누미노즘적인 상징물들을 내포하기 때문이다. 그리고 바로 이 지점이 바로 영혼의 치유를 위한 정신분석과 신학의 대화의 가능성과 더 나아가 통합의 가능성을 생각할 수 있게 한다고 보았다. |
| 영문 초록 | This study examines historical perspectives of the church and a biblical understanding of dreams. Based on this observation of various understandings of dreams, this study searches a possible model for integration between pastoral theology and psychoanalysis. The paper is constructed as follows: The first part describes the process of reconciliation between pastoral theology and psychoanalysis in France. The second part observes the church''''s historical views of dreams particularly with regards to the early church fathers such as Tertullian and Augustine and medieval churches since they have different perspectives on dreams. The third part scrutinizes a biblical understanding of dreams not only from the Old Testament but also from the New Testament, for a biblical understanding of dreams had been changed from the Old Testament to the New Testament. In this part, its limit of biblical interpretation of dreams is also discussed. Lastly, the fourth part introduces Freud and Jung''''s theory of dreams. Freud pioneered a new way of understanding dreams, in which he uses the technique of free association to demonstrate the symbolic nature of dreams. On the other hand, Jung who was Freud''''s pupil focuses on the dreamer''''s unconscious elements of his or her psyche. Through all these observations, this study suggests a common ground between pastoral theology and psychoanalysis in use of dream interpretation regarding the care of souls, which is the grace of God. |
