| 국문 초록 | 교육학과 기독교교육학은 어떤 관계에 있는가? 일반적으로 기독교교육학은 신학에 속한 학문으로 이해되며, 신학대학교 안의 한 전공으로 존재하고 있고, 교육학은 사회과학의 한 분야로서 일반 대학교 안의 한 전공으로 존재한다. 이러한 기독교교육학과 기독교적 교육학은 상호 밀접한 교류가 필요함에도 불구하고 그동안 분리되어 왔다. 이 논문은 ''신학''을 강조하는 기독교교육학과 ''교육학''을 강조하는 기독교교육학을 비교, 분석함으로서 이 둘 중 하나를 선택하는 것이 아니라 통합되어야함을 보여준다. 이는 교육학과 기독교교육학의 교류가 심화되어야 함을 요청하는데, 기독교인 교육학자와 기독교교육학자들이 상호 교류할 수 있는 학문공동체의 형성이 필요하다. 기독교학교교육 분야는 이러한 교류의 좋은 접점이 될 수 있을 것이다. 종래의 기독교교육학이 그 학문적인 관심을 교회교육현상만이 아니라 학교교육현상을 포함하여야 하며, 기독교적 교육학은 교육현상을 기독교적 관점으로 탐구할 수 있어야 할 것이다. |
| 영문 초록 | What is the relationship between education and Christian education as a discipline? In the Korean context, the academic community of Christian education studies is sadly alienated from the education community. There is insufficient interaction between the two. Departments teaching Christian education belong to theological seminaries, and those of education are located in the universities. This separation is an obstacle, both for the scientific explanation of Christian education as a phenomenon and for a more Christian approach to education itself. This study analyses the relationship between the study of education and Christian education. It searches for the meaning and the relationship of the two elements ''Christian'' and ''education'' in ''Christian education''. This study shows the importance of integration in Christian education. A ''both-and'' approach seems more appropriate for Christian education than the existing ''either-or'' conception. Both theology and the science of education contribute to a sincere grasp of Christian education. This calls for the interaction of Christian education and general education, and also of the corresponding academic institutions. Networking between scholars of Christian education and Christian scholars of education will bring much to the development of Christian education. In this process, Christian school education is suggested as a possible locus of cooperation between Christian education and education. An integrated Christian education community, in which Christian education and general education are mutually supportive and tightly bound, will bring us closer to building the Kingdom of God in the area of education. |
