| 국문 초록 | 본 연구는 기독교 세계관에 근거한 기독교 복지의 방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 그 동안 우리나라에서는 사회복지서비스를 제공하는 주체가 그리스도인과 교회인 경우 혹은 성경을 인용하기만 하면 모든 사회복지실천이 기독교 복지실천, 교회사회사업으로 인식되어 왔다. 하지만 기독교 복지란 기독교 세계관과 인간관에 부합하는 경우, 다시 말해 인간이란 어떠한 존재이고, 어떻게 구성되어 있으며, 무엇을 위해 사는가에 대한 기독교적 이해를 바탕으로 사회복지활동을 실천하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 사회복지가 인간을 진정으로 행복하게 만드는데 실패한 원인을 자원과 기술의 부족이 아닌, 잘못된 인간관과 세계관에 근거하여 사회복지가 실천되어 왔기 때문이라고 주장한다. 본 연구에서 지적한 기존 사회복지의 문제점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 목표를 설정함에 있어 기존의 사회복지는 하나님께서 인간에게 설정하신 목적들을 달성하여 행복을 추구하기 보다는 오히려 하나님으로부터의 독립과 하나님을 배제한 자아실현에 초점을 맞추었다. 둘째, 인간이 고안해 낸 사회보장제도 및 사회복지서비스를 절대화하고 우상화하는 경향을 보였다. 셋째, 인간의 영적 욕구를 간과했다. 이와 같은 문제를 해결하기 위하여 본 연구에서 제안한 것은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기독교 복지의 목표는 결국 하나님께서 인간과 이 사회에 대해 갖고 계신 계획들을 추구하는 것이다. 둘째, 사회복지제도와 서비스를 절대시하거나 우상시해서는 안 되고, 수정가능하고 더 나은 대안을 찾을 수 있다는 개방성과 융통성을 지녀야 한다. 셋째, 인간의 기본적인 욕구인 육체적인 욕구, 정신적인 욕구는 물론이고 영적인 욕구를 해결하기 위한 서비스를 균형 있게 그리고 조화롭게 제공해야 한다. |
| 영문 초록 | The purpose of this study is to present a direction of christian welfare based on the christian world view. So far, social welfare practices have been recognized as a christian welfare practice if only social welfare practice was carried out by christians or quoting the verses from the Bible. However, the christian welfare implies that the welfare practice which is carried out according to christian world view and human view. In other words, christian welfare practice should be carried out on the basis of such questions. Who is a human being? What is a purpose of a human being? This study insists that the reason why the existing social welfare has failed in making humans be truly happy is not because the lack of resources or skills, but because the practice of social welfare based on the incorrect view of world and human. The problems of the existing social welfare are as follows. First, when establishing goals, the existing social welfare has been focused on the self-realization tending toward independence from God and excluding God rather than seek for the happiness by achieving the goals established for humans by God. Second, the existing social welfare showed the tendency that the social security systems and welfare services designed by humans became absolute and idolized things. Third, the existing social welfare has overlooked the spiritual desire of humans. The suggestions proposed by this study, in order to solve those problems, are as follows. First, we need to understand that the ultimate goals of christian welfare is to seek for the plans of God, which were designed for the sake of human beings and the society. Second, we need to keep in mind that the social welfare systems and services must not be regarded as absolute or idolized, but the systems shall remain open and flexible, so that they can be modified and better alternatives may be found out. Third, christian welfare should provide spiritual service as well as physical and mental services. |
