| 국문 초록 | 시간론에 관해서는 많은 철학자들의 논의가 있어 왔지만, 기독교 철학적, 신학적 입장에서 시간에 대한 논의를 시작한 대표적인 철학자는 아우구스티누스이다. 물론 그의 사상에는 앞선 철학자들, 즉 플라톤과 플로티노스의 방법론적인 전용이 있었지만, 그 내용의 중심에 있어서는 성경적 관점을 벗어나지 않는다. 본 논문은 아우구스티누스의 시간관을 ‘역사’와 관련지어 살펴보는 것이다. 그의 시간관에 대해서는 다양한 관점이 있지만, 역사적 시간론을 다루는 것은 그것이 단지 이론적 차원에 머물지 않고, 실천적 관점을 제시할 수 있다고 보기 때문이다. 이런 맥락에서 본 논문은 이런 아우구스티누스의 역사적 시간론이 특히 인간중심주의적 역사관을 철저히 배제하고 있다는 것, 구속사적 관점, 즉 창조-타락-구속의 틀을 형성하는 하나님 중심의 세계관이 그 안에 자리 잡고 있다는 것, 그리고 은총을 통한 윤리관을 함의하고 있다는 것을 제시하고자 한다. 구체적으로 본 논문에서는 시간의 창조자로서의 하나님, 인간의 보편적 타락, 인간성의 회복, 역사 속에 간섭하시는 하나님의 주권적 섭리, 그리고 그 섭리적 시간 속에서 살아가는 그리스도인의 삶의 태도 등이 다루어지게 될 것이다. |
| 영문 초록 | The theory of time had been discussed by numerous philosophers. However the initial representative philosopher who had discussed time in a Christian philosophical, theological perspective is Augustine. Though his conceptions may had been influenced by the methodological appropriations of prior philosophers, that is, plato, plotinus, his core position does not deviate from the biblical viewpoint. In this article we will examine Augustine''s view of time in relation to ‘history.’ Although there are various standpoints on his view of time, the reason why we deal with the historical theory of time, it simply does not remain in a theoretical dimension, but rather a practical view may be presented. In this context, the present article will show that Augustine''s historical theory of time has thoroughly excluded the humanistic and man-centered historical view, while holding a redemptive viewpoint, in other words a God-centered worldview that forms the framework of creation-fall-redemption, and involves the ethical view through the grace of God. Specifically in the present article, we will deal with the God the creator of time, the universal fall of man, the restoration of human nature, the sovereign providence of God who intervenes in history, and the attitude of the life of a Christian in God''s providential time. |
