| 국문 초록 | 본 논문의 목적은 과거 기독교학교 교육의 역사를 해석학적 방법으로 서술함으로써 현대 교육에 대한 시사점과 함께 현대 기독교교육의 문제점에 대한 대안을 찾는 것이다. 본 논문의 목적을 이루기 위해 우리나라 초기 기독교학교의 설립, 우리나라 초기 기독교학교의 사회적 역할, 초기 기독교학교의 사회적 책임이 현대 기독교교육에 주는 시사점 등을 다루었다. 우리나라 초기 기독교학교의 설립에서는 우리나라 기독교학교 설립초기의 사회적 배경으로 정치적 상황과 교육적 상황, 그리고 종교적 상황을 언급하였다. 기독교학교설립 부분에서는1885년부터 1909년 사이에 설립된 기독교학교들을 소개하였다. 우리나라 초기 기독교학교의 사회적 역할로는 민족운동과 구국운동, 여성운동, 그리고 우리나라의 고등교육의 발전을 위한 초석을 다루었다. 마지막으로 초기 기독교학교의 사회적 책임이 현대 기독교교육에 주는 의미로는 기독교학교의 수, 기독교학교의 교육과정, 그리고 교사의 지도력과 소명의식에 대한 시사점 등을 살펴보았다. 이러한 연구를 근거로 기독교학교에 대한 관심의 고취와 재정적 투자로 인한 기독교학교의 설립, 기독교학교에서 기독교적 특징을 지닌 교육과정의 개발과 교사재교육실시, 기독교지도자들이 해야 할 일과 대안을 제시해 줄 수 있는 연구기관의 활발한 역할, 그리고 기독교학교 교사들의 소명의식과 영적 각성을 위한 대안 등이 마련되어야 할 것을 제안하였다. |
| 영문 초록 | The purpose of this study is to find suggestions and countermeasures to the problem of today''s Christian education through description of the history of Christian education in the past by analytical research. In order to achieve the above purpose, the establishment of Christian school, the social role of Christian education in the early 20th century, and the implications of the social role of Christian education in the early 20th century for current Christian education were dealt with. In the establishment of Christian school in the early 20th century the political, educational and religious context as social background were described. In the part of the establishment of Christian school Christian schools which were founded from 1885 to 1909 were explained. As the social role of Christian education in the early 20th century, national movement, save-the-nation drive, women''s liberation movement and the foundation for the development of higher education were mentioned. In the implications of the social role of Christian education in the early 20th century for current Christian education, the number of Christian schools, the curricular of Christian schools, and Christian teachers'' leadership and calling were discussed. From this study there are several suggestions as follows: first, ministers need to recognize the importance of the construction of Christian schools and support them financially. Second, it is necessary to develop Christian curriculum and to establish the institute for Christian teachers'' re-training. Third, a research institute which suggests Christian leaders'' duty and the counterproposal for Christian education is essential. Last, the calling and spiritual awakening of Christian teachers are indispensible. |
